Emotion Focused Therapy

Deepen the relationship to your emotions with Emotion Focused therapy. The ability to experience and regulate emotions is integral in deepening and maintaining emotional well-being. Emotion-focused therapy views emotion as a key aspect in the construction of the self and identity. Emotions are important in informing us of our needs, desires, and concerns. In my therapeutic work, I will guide you in increasing awareness of your relationship to emotions, learn to self soothe, and build self-trust. Somatic work, along with emotion-focused and psychodynamic therapy, help people to experience their true feelings and connect with core emotion to reach a more authentic and congruent self.
